Take My Breath Away

I love this picture. All of the couples here were asked to kiss for the picture and Glen really planted one on me. After 27 years, his kisses still take my breath away. I love Chelsea's look to her dad of "come on Dad behave yourself."

May 15th was a beautiful day. Chelsea and Dane were sealed in the Newport Beach Temple.
They were beautiful together and very sweet. Glen and I were so happy for them and they looked even happier.
The temple sealing wa performed by Dane's grandfather so that made it very special for them. There were many friends and family in attendance and that made it even better. It is great to be surrounded by those you love and who love you too.
The reception was fun and fabulous. I will post pictures of that soon.
In the mean time enjoy a few of the happy couple and a happy mom.

Unforgettable

I learned how to sing "Unforgettable" listening to Dinah Washington with my dad. I learned about alot of music with my dad. He loved to turn on music loud during the day.
This is how I know about Chopin, Beethoven, Strauss and yes, even Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass.
My dad left this earth on May 2nd and I never imagined it would hurt so much. I know the plan of our Heavenly Father, I know I will see him again, but I was his little girl and I miss him very much.

The day after my dad passed away our family went out to the driving range to remember him.
Dad, you have the honor, swing away.

We are so proud of Noah. He is now an Eagle Scout. He loves scouting and is always so enthusiastic about the activities and merit badges. His project was building cubbies for Faye's school for their after school program. He did a great job. We know he will continue to do many more great things.
Here he is pinning on the mentor pin on Uncle Dennis. Dennis has always been a big supporter of Noah, he has always been very encouraging to him.

Happy Birthday Faye

We had a vintage Barbie glamour party for Faye's 7th birthday. It was alot of fun and Faye was so great and had a good time. We had 15 little girls and thank goodness Tess was here to help. I made the dress up clothes and used the china and made it all fancy.

Guess Who's Been Working Out?

Glen is not going to like that I posted this.

How do you say C-a-r--i-b-b-e-a-n

We recently took a cruise with Glen's parents to the Caribbean. It was their treat for their 50th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time with the family and It was so relaxing, We didn't have to lift a finger. It felt a little sinful.
Relaxing and eating on the ship.

The beautiful port we ferried into on St. Johns

Trunk Bay, one of the world's most beautiful beaches. It was lovely, but we didn't have enough time there to enjoy it.

Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. All of the buildings are painted fun colors one right after another. I was suprised at what a clean city it is.

My birthday cake. The waiters were so kind and they work so hard. They are from Indonesia. They loved Glen, because he is so kind back to them. They would say anything you want Mister Glen. We tried to do some dancing with the help of Glen's parents, they are great dancers.

Glen and I at Trunk Bay.
